I travelled from Berlin to Krakow in Poland. Krakow is a beautiful
city, with the large Rynok Glowny central square as a focal point,
but I think my appreciation of the city and its surroundings would
be immeasurably improved in the summertime - Polish winters are not
the warmest I know...
Just south of Rynok Glowny is Wawel Castle. Inside, the castle
is a museum with preserved rooms, furniture and paintings. I have been
to many museums around the world, but I would have to rate the quality
and presentation of information here, in multiple languages and with
excellent numbered diagrams, as some of the best I have seen.
