G'day from the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge! Well, OK, they haven't actually got an internet cafe up there yet, so I had to come down to send this message, but yes, I climbed the bridge, and I have the photos and the T-shirt to prove it. The views are fabulous! The locals call the bridge The Coathanger - don't laugh - if you think that's a silly name for a bridge, the one just round the corner is nick-named Madonna's Bra - use your imagination! I've now just about got over the reverse culture shock of hitting the 'first world' again. Riding in to Bangkok on the Airport Bus, it was very strange to see all those modern, western cars, driving in lanes, with their headlights on. As for Hong Kong, the prices were a bit of a shock, especially after India! Sydney is a great place - everyone is so friendly and helpful. I think this is just about the best city I've been to for organisation and preparation for tourists and other visitors. They thoroughly deserve to host the Olympics and I'm sure they'll do a great job. This is a fairly short edition of news because there's no time to stop and type e-mails, there's just too much to do and see! Nigel
